L'Anima della Velocità: The Soul of Speed
This page is an ode to my absolute favorite: the brand with the prancing horse. What you see here is not just an object; it is the result of pure passion.
Just as the iconic cars from Maranello are built with utmost precision and human dedication, these three epoxy ashtrays have been fully shaped by hand. It is my tribute to the aesthetics, the speed, and the soul of a legend. It is a personal "tributo" to the craftsmanship that has amazed the world for decades.
The History & The Logo: Where does it come from?
The story of Ferrari is inextricably linked to its founder, Enzo Ferrari.
The Beginning: Enzo was a racing driver for Alfa Romeo before founding his own company in 1939. It wasn't until 1947 that the very first true Ferrari (the 125 S) rolled out of the factory in Maranello.
The Logo (Il Cavallino Rampante): The black prancing horse was originally the emblem of Francesco Baracca, a legendary Italian fighter pilot from World War I.
The Meeting: In 1923, Enzo met Baracca’s parents. His mother, Countess Paolina, told Enzo: "Put my son's prancing horse on your cars. It will bring you luck." Enzo added the canary-yellow background—the color of his hometown, Modena—and the Italian tricolor at the top.
