This collection was born out of a deep-rooted respect for the torcedores (cigar rollers) who, day in and day out, use their hands and their hearts to transform a natural product into a work of art. True passion is recognized in the details. That is why I created this piece: an object in which the maker can recognize their own dedication. It is my way of honoring the love for the craft that they breathe into every single cigar.

Artequi: Where the maker meets the master.

As a tribute to the masterwork of Daniël Guerrero, we at Artequi crafted a custom, handmade Gaudí ashtray.In this artisanal epoxy ashtray, we incorporated the original cigar bands from his renowned Gaudí Selection, featuring the famous salamander icon. To make this tribute complete, we had the honor of personally presenting this unique piece to Daniël during InterTabac 2026. A true celebration of cigar passion and craftsmanship!

As a tribute to Don Francisco Barreda, affectionately known as Don Chico, we at Artequi created a custom, handmade epoxy ashtray.

This artisanal piece incorporates authentic La Barreda cigar bands embedded in resin. The design features the brand's iconic colors and original wooden coasters, which were personally given to us at InterTabac 2025 by Jennifer Barreda (Don Chico’s eldest daughter).

During InterTabac 2026, we had the honor of personally presenting this unique ashtray to Oskar Barreda. Although Jennifer couldn't be there, meeting part of the family and witnessing how they continue Don Chico's legacy together was an unforgettable experience.

For Alex Cigar Dandy, we at Artequi crafted a highly exclusive and intricate bespoke masterpiece.

• The Design: The ashtray features authentic cigar bands sourced from all over the globe. Alex’s portrait was painstakingly composed using genuine Cuban Havana bands, set within the iconic James Bond 007 gun barrel aesthetic—giving life to the code name 00CD.

• Integrated Cigar Knife: After countless hours of precision craftsmanship, we engineered a hidden mechanism: using a custom key, an integrated cigar knife releases directly from the ashtray to cut your cigars.

• Matching Zippo Lighter: To complete the collection, a matching handcrafted Zippo lighter was created, custom-designed with colors and flags honoring Alex’s heritage.

In honor of our good friend Don Pepone, Artequi created a bespoke artisan tribute.

• The Design: Crafted from premium Padauk wood and embedded in crystal-clear epoxy, this ashtray incorporates an iconic Il Padrino bottle label along with custom elements of Don Pepone's signature branding.

• The Cigar Puzzle: A unique feature of this piece is an inlaid puzzle incorporating a cigar, symbolizing his deep curiosity and journey into the realm of fine cigars.

• The Story: After a successful career in bodybuilding, Don Pepone pivoted toward a new passion in the cigar world. This 1-of-1 collector's item celebrates his transition, dedication, and mastery of a new craft.
